This puppy has great skill when it comes to finding the tiny sliver of sun so she can bask.

And bask she does.

It snowed today.

The light dusting looks beautiful on the roof.

And that's all we got.

The cake was not the only super cute and creative thing at the baby shower.

We had rubber ducks bathing in the punch bowl,
two AWESOME diaper cakes
and even a boquet of sock flowers.

The spread of food was delicious also.

It is so much fun to celebrate our friends!!

Mommy and her friends made a cake for a favorite friend's baby shower.

She's having twin boys so they made
two diapered bummys
four wrinkly feet
and twenty pudgy toes.

And since even twins have their own personalities
the blankets are different patterns and colors.

Belle played outside today and came inside to show that she had turned into Pinkalicious.

It was C-C-COLD outside.

Belle was SO excited for the first day of school spirit week: Mis-Matched Monday.

She was all dressed up and ready to go before the big kids had to get on the bus.

Too bad she was a whole two weeks early.

Jan 8

Mommy looked good at church today.

And lots of people told her so.

Jan 7

Belle decided to experiment with new hair styles today.

This is one she's she tied her two pig tails in a knot on top of her head.

And is irresistibly adorable.

This is Leia's first day of ski club and a family friend happened to be at the mountain watching his 3rd grader's first attempt at skiing.

He snapped a picture and I've seen this picture, but we don't have a copy yet.

She had a great time until she got back to the school parking lot and puked on the bus.

Poor baby.
We (mommy) should have seen this coming.

Dancing Princess Leia asked if she could join the ski club this year.

We said yes and then found out that 2nd graders could join only if an older sibling was participating, too.

We got special permission,
paid lots of money,
bought all the gear
(including this hat, but minus skis)
and prepared to ship her little 7 year old bummy
up the mountain on Friday nights
to ski with a bunch of strangers.

Rex found a new game on the computer and the girls are REALLY interested.

It's called ROBLOX.

It's a megablocks (in quality, not brand) version of a Lego game.

He nicely showed them how to register and log in to play their own game.
And we have to keep telling them that if they want to play the game
they have to know how and we won't help.

So Rex does.
This is an album created to raise money for research about the chromosome abnormality that affects my brother, know as Smith-Magenis Syndrome. I like it. Have a listen and if you're interested you can buy the album. Learn the story of the man behind this album at his blog: http://pacingthepanicroom.blogspot.com
