LEGO Update

The online promotions at ToysRUs.com are also available in-store!

Free tractor and lego piece? Oh my!

There is no limit on the number of coupons you can print. I went back a few times. I might go one more time.

NO WAY!!!

AND...

If you purchase $50 worth of LEGO electronics (radio, CD player, MP3 player, digital camera) you get a free set of LEGO walkie talkies ($19.99).

**HINT** The digital camera is priced at 49.99 and I was angry it was one cent below $50, but they gave me the walkies anyway.

SCORE!!!

I think I feel a LEGO themed Christmas/birthday coming on. What else is new?

Happy LEGOing to all!

LEGO Sale! No Way!

Check it out!

A Toys R Us coupon for 15% off a LEGO City Construction set!

It is good through 10/17 only at a Toys"R"Us store. Please note that this coupon is valid in-stores only! I looked online and they have other promotions going (like a free tractor when you spend $30 on a single LEGO set, or a commemorative brick with any LEGO purchase and free shipping if you spend $75) so I don't know if the in-store prices are the same as online.

But, the sets look pretty reasonably priced already (I checked the LEGO website), so a coupon that gets you a discount more than the price of tax is pretty awesome!

Go here for the details (pretty straightforward)

Or go here to go straight to the coupon.

Happy Building!

Silly Little Girl

My kids have very particular wardrobe preferences.

Rex loves muscle shirts and shorts and wearing the same socks for three days straight, unless he is refusing to wear anything but his flip flops.

Leia LOVES wearing glittery clothes, long sleeves, tights and if it is a skirt (barely allows dresses even for church) it has to have shorts built in.

Belle only likes to wear sleeveless dresses, flat refuses to wear shirts or sweaters in cold weather or shorts underneath. And she's not good at keeping her business covered so she HAS to have more coverage.

Today before church I won the battle of the sweater and shorts. Go me.

As soon as we got seated and said the opening prayer at church she removed her sweater.

Fine, it is a bit warmer inside, so I put it in my bag.

Then I started paying attention to the announcements.

And then I hear at the edge of my consciousness,

"and my shorts, too."

WHAT!!?@?

I look over and she is holding her dress at her waist and removing her shorts.

Horror of all horrors!

Pull the dress down.
Pick up the shorts.
Try to put leg one in.
Cringe at the dress going back up to the waist.
Ignore the snickers from friends sitting in the row behind us.
Insert leg number two.

Mission accomplished.

Later in the meeting I pat myself on the back because she is hanging upside down off the chair with her shorts hanging out, instead of the pink and yellow Belle underwear.

I right her into her chair then and fifteen more times during the meeting.

Kids...what would I do for entertainment without them?

This is an album created to raise money for research about the chromosome abnormality that affects my brother, know as Smith-Magenis Syndrome. I like it. Have a listen and if you're interested you can buy the album. Learn the story of the man behind this album at his blog: http://pacingthepanicroom.blogspot.com
