A few observations from when I returned to the US:
Drinking fountains
Big cars driving very fast in wide lanes
Understanding (without effort) other people's conversations
Scary people at 11pm in WalMart
Winter is COLD
I don't like cold
The girls don't remember snow (the girl said that the fairies turned the ground white)
LOTS and LOTS of Christmas lights
